I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately. My goal is to read at least three books a month, with a few short stories in between. I’ve had Hornbacher’s Madness on my shelf for a few years now! So far her writing has a ton of character. Even a few pages in, Madness reminds me of a more modern and off-the-rails The Bell Jar.
I want to try and spread Oliver Twist out a bit through the year and read Dickens the way he was published - in serialized episodes. I have Great Expectations waiting on my shelf too!
A few e-books on my March Reading list are Fight Club (which I’m halfway through) and The Poisonwood Bible (which will probably take me ages as I have it on audio!)
If anyone is looking to be friends on goodreads, send me a message and I’d love to add you. Anyone reading anything fantastic this month?#books #Penguin Classics #reading #goodreads #charles dickens #literature #oliver twist #a christmas carol
I’ve had this post on my mind for a little while now but I kept forgetting to do it! These are all the journals I own, from top to bottom: my sketchbook, my personal notebook/scrapbook, creative writing notebook, frankie journal, and my on-the-go notebook!#notebook #journal #sketchbook #art #writing #drawing #cursive #frankie journal #scrapbook
